Join us for our annual Christmas Fayre held inside our beautiful Neo-Gothic school building. Enjoy lots of gift and craft stalls, festive hampers raffle, children's arty activities, teas and mincepies, hog roast, Santa's Grotto and a fabulous firework display at 5.45pm to round off the event. Entry is free!
Santa's Grotto - open daily!
Plus, all the week before (Monday 27th Nov to Friday 1st December), Santa will be esconced in his Grotto daily too from 3.15pm to 5.15pm! Our very twinkly Santa Claus will be listening keenly to all visiting children's wish lists and his elves will be presenting a special gift to young visitors. (There's a charge of £2.50 per child). Follow the signs to the Pre-Prep Stables Building to find Father Christmas in his grotto.
Both the Christmas Fayre and the Santa's Grotto are open to the public and you'll find plenty of parking in the school car parks.
At Sompting Abbotts, we adopt a school-wide ethos that embodies our commitment to the environment. Its principles – 'Embrace Nature; Embrace Learning; Embrace Childhood' – are threaded through our teaching, influencing every child's journey from Pre-Prep to Upper Prep. Our 30-acre grounds and woodland in the South Downs National Park are at its roots.
